How do you install it?
Simply plug it into any standard outlet.

Where can you put it?
Any indoor location within 10 to 12 feet of a standard electrical outlet. Single models only take 44" x 44" of floor space.

What type of floor can you put it on?
The water pot in the base is totally self-contained. You can put the AromaSpa on any type of floor.

What about condensation inside the unit?
Condensation on the wall & door runs down the sides & collects in a reservoir in the base of the unit. Following your steam session, you can empty the reservoir easily with a sponge or turkey baster.

What about room temperature?
The temperature of the room affects the temperature of the AromaSpa. The AromaSpa is designed for a minimum of 60° F room temperature.

How hot does the AromaSpa get?
115° F - 120° F.

Single vs. double unit
The Gemini double unit is roomy enough for one person to recline, or for two people to use at the same time. A single unit takes up less floor space & is more easily portable.

What about using the AromaSpa for detox?
Detoxification requires a body temperature of 101° F to 103°F. The single units can get 5° F hotter than the double unit. The double unit can be used for detox, but will take longer.

What kind of material is it?
Top & base are ABS, a light weight durable plastic. Walls & doors of the Serene & Gemini are polycarbonate, the material used for bullet-proof glass & airplane windows. Walls & door of the Health Capsule are a rubberized acrylic, more flexible & higher weight.

How much power does it use?
The aromaSpa steam capsules draw 11 Amps of electricity at 120V. A typical steam session uses about 1 kw-hr of electric energy for a typical electric cost of about 20 cents per session.

Chairs
One chair is included with the Serene & Health Capsule, two chairs with the Gemini. The chairs are the highest quality folding patio chairs. They are from Italy & are made from durable, hi-impact resin.

What if I want to move the aromaSpa?
The unit is portable & sets up or disassembles in minutes. Top & base latch together, wall & door roll up for storage or portability.

Installed unit vs. aromaSpa
Installed steam saunas use the public water system. Many of these systems are chlorinated or have other water quality problems. Chlorine & other substances can vaporize and be inhaled through the lungs & absorbed through the skin, just like water. When you use distilled water in your AromaSpa, you have control over the water quality.

Will my insurance cover it?
Some policies offer coverage with a doctor's note. Medical Insurance policies vary, so check with your insurance company.
